Extended Returns

We understand gift giving can be tricky. To make this easier, we are offering extended returns. All orders placed in December, can be returned up until 20th January 2020. 

Please note, we do not offer refunds on Gift Cards or sale items. 

Warehouse Dispatch Opening Hours

Our warehouse will be closed on the below days and therefore dispatch will occur the following business day.

As always, we offer Free Shipping on all Australian orders, however the cost of return shipping will be at your expense. 

From design to composition and texture - all peony fabrics are beautifully different, but the one thing they have in common is that they are all made from recycled content.

In short, regular nylon is made from non-renewable petroleum oil which is a significant contributor to global warming.

Recycled nylon differs from this because it is made by regenerating nylon goods that are already in existence, thus saving the earth’s resources and significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the fabric.

This depends on the fabric. For our printed fabrics, we use Econyl™, a 100% regenerated nylon made from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world.

For our custom textured fabrics, we develop these in-house using GSR certified recycled nylon. This recycled nylon is made from a variety of post consumer goods such as old carpets and plastic bottles.

Yes, it is exactly the same. The quality of the recycled nylon fabric is not compromised at all during this process. In fact, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity meaning it is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

Yes, we deliver worldwide via Express International Courier. For international orders, shipping is free over $150, or a flat rate of $15 for under $150. For more information on shipping, see our Shipping page.

Our swimwear is designed in Australian and made in China. We work to minimise the negative impacts associated with manufacturing and to ensure that all people involved are treated fairly and respectfully along the way. Our swimwear supplier is certified SA8000 approved. SA8000 is the leading social certification standard for factories and organisations across the globe. 

We use compostable and biodegradable packaging throughout our supply chain. Our bags are made using plant-based materials like cornstarch and wheat, replacing synthetic materials like petroleum. These bags break down easily and can be placed in your compost bin.

As a small boutique brand, all our styles are handmade in limited numbers. Popular styles sell out quickly and we don’t often restock them. We would recommend signing up to our newsletter so you are updated on any restocks that may occur. Otherwise, please email us so we can direct you to the nearest store that may have what you are looking for.

To find your perfect size, please refer to our Size Guide page as well as any notes that may be listed in the product details. If you have a specific sizing question, please email us and we would be happy to help.

peony is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund or exchange - the choice is yours. Returns are free within Australia (excluding sale items) and the process is simple. We do accept international returns, however, we do cover the cost of return shipping. Our website allows you to view our prices in various different currencies. You can select your currency by clicking the drop down located at the top right hand corner of our website. 

Please note, all transactions are processed in AUD. The prices you see on our product pages and in your cart will be in your currency of choice, however, at checkout our system converts all prices to back to AUD. Please be assured that you will be charged in your currency exactly as per the amount shown on the product pages.

If paying using our integrated checkout: The discount code is entered at the very end of the check out process. Once shipping and payment details have been entered, you will be able to enter the code. 

If paying with Paypal: The discount code is entered at the very end of the check out process. Once shipping and payment details have been entered with Paypal, you will be redirected back to our site, where you will be able to enter the code. Don't worry, you will not be charged until you have had the chance to enter the discount code and the discount has been applied to the total of your order.

The fastest way to contact us is by emailing us. We check our email regularly and will respond to your query as quickly as we can. If your enquiry is urgent, please pop URGENT in the title so we can prioritise your email.

No, you can check out as a guest or you can create an account. The benefits of creating an account are that when you sign in next time your shipping and billing addresses will be automatically inputted saving you time. You will also be able to keep track of past and current orders.

We accept most credit cards, Paypal and Afterpay. We can also accept credit card payments over the phone or by way of bank transfer. To arrange payment via credit card over the phone or bank transfer, please email us and we will assist you.

Yes, purchasing from our online store is extremely safe and secure. Our website uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL), an encryption technology that ensures safe internet transmission of your personal information. We do not store your credit card details nor do we share your personal information with any third party.

To return an item, simply follow the steps outlined on our Returns page.

All of our styles are handmade with care and are inspected before being shipped to ensure the highest quality garments are being sent to you. In the unlikely event that swimwear is faulty, you can return it within 21 days of delivery to be replaced, repaired or refunded. For more information please see our Returns page.

No, we do not cover the cost of import taxes or duties as these vary greatly from country to country. For more information on duties and taxes to your country, please see our Shipping page.

If you select Afterpay at checkout, you can pay for your order over four fortnightly payments. There is no interest or added fees. The four payments will be taken from your debit or credit card and you will receive your order straight away.

To use Afterpay, all you need is:

(1) A debit card or credit card
(2) To be 18 years of age or over
(3) To live in Australia

To use this service, simply:

(1) Add items to your cart and check out as normal
(2) At checkout, select Afterpay as your payment method
(3) Enter your details with Afterpay

Your order will be shipped straight away.

Please note:

The payment arrangement is made with Afterpay. Afterpay will approve payments at the time of your order. Afterpay is valid for amounts up to $500 with a debit card or $800 with a credit card.

For first time Afterpay customers, the first payment will be made at the time of purchase, with payments over 6 weeks. For existing Afterpay customers, the first payment will be made in 14 days with payments over 8 weeks. The full payment schedule will be provided to you at the time of purchase.

If you wish to return your order, you can choose to receive an exchange or the Afterpay plan can be cancelled and you will pay nothing.

If you fail to make a payment, you will be charged a late fee of $10 and if still overdue after one week, an additional $7 will be charged.

Thread a tape measure under your arms, across shoulder blades at back and around the fullest part of your bust. Relax your arms at either side and keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

To find your natural waistline, bend to one side to find the natural indentation in your torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.

Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around widest part of hips and bottom, keeping tape parallel with floor. Do not measure around your hip bones, this is too high. Measure around the widest part of your lower hips and bottom, often this is the upper thigh area.
