To find your natural waistline, bend to one side to find the natural indentation in your torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.
Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around widest part of hips and bottom, keeping tape parallel with floor. Do not measure around your hip bones, this is too high. Measure around the widest part of your lower hips and bottom, often this is the upper thigh area.
